I was born in 1956 in Istanbul. My late father was an accountant and my mother is a retired bank manager. I have one brother who assumes managerial positions in IT industry in Turkey.
I am happily married with Ferhan for 27 years who is a retiree of Mobil Oil Turk. Our son Omer is 26 years old and currently studies in Harvard University, Cambridge, MA to get his Ph-D degree in History of Art.
